Elevating the voices of early childhood educators and families was central in the development of Wyoming’s Coherent Path to Quality. This interactive tool will guide you through an exciting process of recognizing and celebrating the quality learning experiences you provide for young children every day, while offering common sense ideas and practical tips on how to do even better.
The Coherent Path to Quality is grounded in research on the key factors that impact young children’s learning. Each of these dimensions of quality, Relationships and Interactions, the Emotional and Physical Environment, and Learning Experiences are supported by “Simple Rules”, or examples of how each looks in practice. Created by and for the Wyoming early childhood community, Wyoming’s Coherent Path to Quality is full of photos and examples from Wyoming homes and classrooms and recommendations from Wyoming early childhood educators and families. This foundational document, in partnership with The Wyoming Early Learning Standards, sets the bar for quality early childhood education in Wyoming.
