Description: As early childhood practitioners we can feel the pressure to teach infants and toddlers academic content and limit the amount of play time they have. Join Kara Cossel from the Wyoming Early Childhood Professional Learning Collaborative and together we will explore how play promotes joyful learning that fosters self-regulation, language, cognitive and social competencies, discuss how we can intentionally provide environments for learning and tools that support our work with infants and toddlers.
