Welcome to the WYECPLC Resource Portal
Welcome to the Wyoming Early Childhood Professional Learning Collaborative resource portal. The WYECPLC mission is to elevate the early childhood field by providing relevant and collaborative learning opportunities for early childhood educators. The tools found on this site, when fully developed, will focus on this broad mission. At this time of COVID-19, however, the WYECPLC team has turned our attention to assisting educators and programs as they support learning at home. The early learning landscape has dramatically shifted from a school-centered to a home-centered focus in the last month and early childhood professionals across the state have responded in innovative and exciting ways.
To assist with this work, the WYECPLC is providing a platform for educators to share their ideas and the activities they are developing with each other. We have also created tools that will help families recognize their influence as their child’s first and most important teacher, and empower them to become even more intentional learning partners. We encourage educators and programs to share these resources widely. We have also carefully curated a web resource page with links to the best tools available from the most reputable early childhood organizations in the country.
In this time of physical distancing the need for collaboration is greater than ever. Please join our community and engage with us in lifting families and early childhood programs to meet new challenges and strengthen learning partnerships. Your feedback on the website is essential in this ongoing process of creation. Please share your thoughts by contacting your regional Professional Learning Facilitator, or by emailing us at eceshares@gmail.com.
