Leadership

Early childhood leaders have a powerful influence on the experiences of teachers, families, and children every day. Leaders also often experience the lowest levels of support, and the highest incidents of stress, anxiety, and burn-out of all early childhood professionals. An important priority of the WY ECPLC is to provide greater support for early childhood leaders in Wyoming. We know that when leaders continue to learn, the quality of the early childhood programs they lead improves dramatically. The resources here will help you understand the complexities and challenges you may be facing as a leader, and will provide tools for strengthening your leadership skills. You will also find opportunities to collaborate and learn with other early childhood leaders from around the state. For additional support in identifying your learning needs, and to connect with other leaders in communities of practice, contact your Regional Professional Learning Facilitator.
